  • Learn to skate program - Canskate offers basic skating instruction in a group format. Canskate is taught by Skate Canada Professionals and assisted by volunteers skaters. Canskate can help children to move towards figure skating or hockey or just simply learn to skate for recreational fun.

 STARSkate offers opportunities to develop figure skating skills in four different areas.
    Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what STARSkate is all about!

  • Junior - Must have earned Canskate stage 5 badge or higher.
  • Intermediate - Must have passed the first two Preliminary Dances
        (Dutch Waltz, & Canasta).
  • Senior - Must have passed Junior Bronze Freeskate.
  • Adult - over the age of 18.

Guest Skating - We welcome all guest skaters.  Please contact the ice captain for the session you would like to guest skate on or you may contact the registrar.  Click here to download a guest skating form.

Intro to Power - this program is taught on the Canskate learn to skate program and the child needs to be at least a Canskate level 3 or 4. This program is very popular. It introduces the kids to our regular power skate program.

  • Adult Power - For Adults looking for improvement of their skating skills.
